About Drone-Map EU
What is Drone-Map EU?
Drone-Map EU is a free interactive map of restricted airspace for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in Europe. It shows the geographical zones where drone flight is prohibited, temporarily restricted, or limited in altitude, as defined under EU regulation 2019/947.
Where does the data come from?
Every zone on the map comes from datasets published by national aviation authorities — for example the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority (AACR) for Romania and ENAIRE/AESA for Spain. The backend fetches these official sources and serves them live to the map; nothing is drawn by hand.
What Drone-Map EU is not
Drone-Map EU is not an official publication and not an operational flight-planning tool. It is an independent visualization of official data. Before any flight, always verify current restrictions with your national aviation authority and applicable NOTAMs.
Access
Drone-Map EU is free to use and requires no account.
